Paddlers have driven from every state, including Alaska, and most Canadian Provinces to pick up their Slipstream.  Surely, they want their boat. The immediate area surrounding Slipstream offers a great deal.  There are countless paddling locations -- our County has 44 lakes (44lakes.com) and dozens of streams.  Just up the road is Northville, NY -- the starting point of the famous Northville-Placid Hiking Trail.  Fishing is abundant including Great Sacandaga Lake which boasts the World Record Northern Pike.  Paddle on the historic Erie Canal at the Schoharie Crossing.

In less than an hour you can be in world famous Lake George, NY, known as "The Queen of American Lakes".  Historical sites are everywhere.
