The Rob Roy 12

While the photo is a bit dated, the design remains relevant today . . . and tomorrow.

One of the original pioneers of canoe / kayak design and fiberglass construction, Bart Hauthaway (pictured above) created this legacy design -- but what is it?

It’s a kayak.  It’s a canoe.  It’s a sailing craft.  The saga of the Rob Roy is more wide-ranging and diverse than almost any other boat.  Flat water, white water, ocean going, camping, as a canoe, as a kayak, sailing, etc., etc., etc.

Exceptional stability affords many opportunities for a variety of outfitting options.  Traditional kayak style seating.  Traditional hung style canoe seating -- and at a comfortable height.  A large cockpit eases entry and exit for paddler and gear.
